Description
Original lithograph on Velin de Rives paper signed in pencil by the artist. Part of the Canto General series. This print was published in 1968, after Siqueiros is released from prison and seeks exile in Chile. Once there he befriends the Pablo Neruda and sets out on illustrating his poem by the same name. This particular one is from a special edition of 25 prints numbered in roman numerals. Titled "The Liberators" (Fourth Canto)
