Sofía Eduviges, born in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, in 1985, is a prominent visual artist whose passion for creativity knows no bounds. Her journey began with a degree in Graphic Design from the University of Monterrey, where she graduated with honors, leaving an indelible mark with her exceptional talent and unwavering dedication.
During her formative years, Eduviges had the privilege of studying under renowned masters, including Mauricio Gattás, Ximena Subercaseaux, Ramiro Martínez Plasencia, Enrique García Saucedo, Alejandro Decinti, and Oscar Villalón. Her artistic horizons expanded further when she ventured to Madrid, Spain, to learn from these luminaries, refining her creative and technical skills.
In 2010, Eduviges received a prestigious scholarship, granting her the opportunity to study oil painting at the esteemed Decinti & Villalón academy in Madrid. This experience solidified her technique and enriched her artistic vision, setting the stage for her remarkable career.
Sofía Eduviges has participated in numerous exhibitions, both collective and individual, leaving an indelible mark on the contemporary art scene.
