Abel Jiménez, born in Oaxaca in 1955, is considered one of the best hyperrealist painters in Latin America. Throughout his career, he has received numerous awards both in Mexico and abroad. His work has been exhibited internationally since 1976 and is part of important collections in cities such as Amsterdam, Munich, Paris, Sao Paulo, Milan, Florence, Madrid, Barcelona, Tokyo, Zurich, Los Angeles, Washington, New York, Monterrey, and Mexico City.
