Alberto Vázquez Navarrete

Alberto Vázquez Navarrete was born in Mexico City in 1952. He initially studied architecture but later decided to pursue a career in art, becoming the apprentice of his father, the master Antonio Vázquez Parra. His work has been exhibited both in Mexico and abroad, in important galleries and institutions. Some of the places where his work has been presented include the Artistic Gallery in Scottsdale, Arizona; the Texas Commerce Bank; the First National Bank in Arkansas; the ArtExpo in Los Angeles, California; the Galerie Troy in Paris, France; the Mexican Cultural Institute in Washington D.C.; and the Chamber of Commerce in Washington D.C. Additionally, he was a founding member of the Jardín del Arte in Cuernavaca, and in 1955 he was named an honorary international citizen in the city of New Orleans, Louisiana.
Currently, the artist lives and works in his studio in Cuernavaca, Morelos. Alberto Vázquez Navarrete has significantly contributed to the Mexican artistic panorama and deserves recognition for his talent and dedication.
